Worship and Production Manager (Virginia Beach)

Waters Edge Church is seeking a full-time Worship & Production Manager to join our dynamic management team. This role will blend leadership in worship and production with the opportunity to assist the Executive Director of Programming in shaping the future of our fast-growing church. Type: Part-Time

Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday (with additional hours and flexibility required during the weeks leading up to Easter, Christmas, and special events), up to 29 hours/week

Your Essentials

● Experience in leading worship and managing production for worship services

● Ability to direct and delegate while removing obstacles to get the job done

● Strong decision-making skills, especially in fast-paced environments

● A proven track record of exceeding expectations, even in challenging circumstances

● Effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with the ability to engage diverse audiences

● Capable of managing resources efficiently while striving for excellence in all areas

● A leader who can build strong relationships, trust, and confidence through honesty, integrity, and authenticity

● Able to quickly rebound from setbacks and adapt to new challenges with resilience

● Knowledge of key software applications like Planning Center, ProPresenter, Logic, and Ableton

● A developer of strong teams with diverse skills, aligned with common goals

Your Impact

● Lead worship at the Virginia Beach Campus and for other worship experiences

● Play an active role in the creative process for Sunday services and special events

● Work closely with the Executive Director of Programming and Lead Pastor Stu Hodges to fulfill the vision of Waters Edge Church

● Oversee the Sunday programming experience at your assigned campus, ensuring excellence in every aspect

● Recruit, manage, and care for volunteers for the Waters Edge Band and

Production Team, building a community of passionate and dedicated team members
