Virginia Beach Kids Manager (Part-Time)
Are you a natural leader with a passion for kids’ ministry? Waters Edge Church in Virginia is looking for a part-time Kids Manager at our brand new Virginia Beach Campus to join our innovative team. Bring your passion, leadership, and love for kids to a place where you can truly make a difference. This position will involve the set up and tear down of a portable campus every Sunday.
Start Date: April 1, 2025
Type: Part-Time
Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday (with additional hours and flexibility required during the weeks leading up to Easter, Christmas, and special events), up to 29 hours/week

Your Impact
● Provide oversight and leadership to the Kids Ministry at your campus
● Work closely under the leadership of your Campus Pastor and Kids and Guest Experience Director to align with overall church goals
● Lead and inspire volunteers to create fun, safe, and engaging weekly environments for kids
● Cast the vision and mission of Waters Edge Church to Kids volunteers, motivating them to serve passionately
● Manage scheduling, communication, and care for current Kids volunteers while recruiting and training future team members
● Coach volunteer leadership teams, ensuring they are equipped to lead effectively
● Ensure that every kid is known, prayed for, and connected within the ministry
● Actively participate in all weekend worship experiences, Christmas Eve and Easter services, and other special events
● Collaborate with other fun, vibrant, and creative staff members to contribute to the church’s overall mission
