Serve Day is Waters Edge Church’s annual, all-out blitz of radical kindness.

For over 12 hours straight we flood Hampton Roads (and online) with projects that meet real needs—feeding families, blessing schools, encouraging first responders, serving the vulnerable, and sharing the love of Jesus in practical ways.

Whether you pack meals, clean a park, donate blood, or lead a project of your own, you’ll be part of hundreds proving that faith works best with work gloves on.

  • Most projects will have an on-site leader and all supplies ready. Just show up in your Serve Day tee.

  • No. T-shirt and project materials are covered by Waters Edge and the generosity of those who give at Waters Edge Church.

  • Indoor back-ups are planned when possible; you’ll receive updates by text/email.

  • We will have childcare available at the Newport News Campus from 9am-3pm and as long as you volunteer at a project, you can drop them off for free and they'll even get to pack meals. We'll have snacks, bounce houses and lots of fun for them. Childcare is on a sign ups basis in Registrations. That link will be posted here once available.
