Your Essentials:
Experience developing spiritually healthy environments and creating pastoral resources that equip leaders to care well for people
Experience equipping and empowering leaders to facilitate engaging, spiritually impactful groups
Proven ability to build and lead strong teams, including paid staff and non-paid volunteers
Skillful at making timely decisions that drive ministry strategy forward and achieve key metrics
Experience designing and executing church-wide Group Launch strategies
Strong budgeting skills to steward resources efficiently and maximize ministry impact
Effective communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to different audiences
Passionate about connecting people to authentic biblical community and helping them grow in their faith
Your Impact
Lead and provide strategic accountability for Waters Edge Groups across all campuses, ensuring clear goals, healthy leader pipelines, and measurable growth
Design and oversee Group Launches (Spring and Fall), ensuring clarity, excellence, and strong engagement
Create and refine the systems, processes, and tools used to recruit, train, and develop group leaders — ensuring campus teams execute them with excellence
Direct, delegate, and coach campus Groups staff and coordinators to consistently meet and exceed ministry goals
Maximize ministry effectiveness by managing the Groups budget wisely
Ensure every person at Waters Edge has a simple, clear, and accessible pathway to join a group
Collaborate with Campus Pastors and ministry leaders to align Groups with overall church strategy and weekend messaging
Actively support and participate in key church-wide moments including Easter, Christmas, and strategic initiatives
Continuously evaluate, critique, and improve ministry systems to remove barriers and increase engagement
Champion a culture where groups are essential to spiritual growth and central to church health
Assist the Executive Director of Ministries with day-to-day administrative responsibilities.
