Taking the first step on the journey toward biblical generosity can be one of the most challenging and daunting steps that we take in our walk with Christ. When considering that many of us grow accustomed to living off 100% of our income, the pure mathematics of tithing make no logical sense. It seems counter-intuitive and even impossible – yet God’s Word teaches us to live on 90% and trust him with the rest. It remains true that surrendered finances bring blessings that 100% of our income could never earn.

I also believe that tithing is one of the most important steps we take on our spiritual journey. Not only is it an individual act of faith, but it’s also the vehicle God uses to finance the work of the church. It is through your giving that our local church can meet the physical needs of our community. It is through your giving that we provide weekend worship experiences. It is through your giving that the gospel is advanced through our outreach partners.

You will be receiving a book in the mail from Pastor Stu called The Treasure Principle by Randy Alcorn. This book will provide you with biblical truths about the act of giving through the lense of eternity.

Your Campus Pastor will be in touch with you throughout your 90 days to encourage you, answer any questions you might have, and pray for you.
