Online Engagement Manager

Waters Edge Church is currently looking for a new, full-time, on-site staff member to join our Outreach Team in the position of Online Engagement Manager. If you are a good communicator and seek to grow the church through digital media this position might be for you!

Position Expectations:

You will be…

  • Working under the direct leadership of the Executive Director of Operations.

  • Participating in all Online services as well as other Online content, as needed.

  • A strong communicator, with a high attention to detail.

  • Accurately representing Christ and Waters Edge Church culture using common language.

  • Responsible for effectively communicating the mission, vision and culture of Waters Edge Church.

  • Ensuring the consistency of WEC’s brand as we represent it Online.

  • Recruiting, developing, training, caring for, and scheduling volunteers for the Online team.

  • Providing care for our fast growing Online campus attendees.

  • Following up with Online attendees who are commenting, sharing and reacting during our Online church services.

  • Following up with self-identifying attendees of the Online campus.

  • Managing and growing the Online Facebook community.

  • Implementing Online strategies across ministries to create an engaging live streamed experience.

  • Creatively engaging with guests to specifically identify who is watching Waters Edge Church Online services.

  • Required to work Sunday-Thursday, all worship services on Christmas Eve and Easter, as well as other events outside of normal working hours as needed.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Outreach Director.
